Is Natural Selection an argument on behalf of the evolutionist or the creationist? I am sure that by now, we have all heard an evolutionist use the notion of Natural Selection as their proof text that evolution is true. But have you really pondered what natural selection does, and what the implications are because of natural selection? Allow me to walk you through some facts and logic about natural selection, and then you will know why Natural Selection is a creationist’s argument and not an evolutionary argument.
When a creature is mutated, it is likely to be sterile if it lives, but often a still born. This is a physical mechanism by natural selection to prevent evolution. If the mutated survives the birthing process and is still fertile, then guess what? The mother is programmed in her DNA to perceive that her offspring is deformed or too small from mutations, and to mortally wound or push away from feeding the mutated. This forces the mutated to die. This is a physical mechanism of natural selection to prevent evolution.
If the mutated creature survives those filtering processes of Natural Selection then it is likely to die prematurely because it is usually deformed, weak, frail, sick, smaller, diseased, mentally slow, and so forth, which means it is likely to die from the climate. If the mutated survives the climate, then predators will likely catch it and kill it because of the previously listed physical conditions resulting from being mutated. This is another physical mechanism of natural selection that prevents evolution.
If the mutated creature survives the climate and predators, then the same sex, of the same species, are programmed in their DNA to fight for dominance for mating by either mortally wounding or forcing out of a region the weaker deformed competitors for reproduction. This is another filtering mechanism of Natural selection to prevent the mutated from passing on genes.
If the mutated survives the climate, predators, and same sex creatures, then when it comes to reproduction, the opposite sex is governed by their DNA to select the most accurate genetic copy to procreate with, and they are governed by their DNA to avoid the mutated. This is the final physical mechanism of natural selection that prevents evolution.
And for this reason, Natural Selection is a creationist’s argument because it conserves genes and doesn’t create genetic code. Due to the random, unguided nature of mutated genetic code, those errors in genetic code are by default harmful to the information in the code. But sometimes the adverse effect resultant from the error in the code is too small or not noticed immediately, and thus, it is often referred to as a neutral mutation. But it is only called a neutral mutation because the degree of the negative effect from the error was not detected yet. But we know that the iniquities of the fathers, which result in errors in their genetic code, get passed down to the third and fourth generations (Exodus 20:5). Therefore, not all mutations are readily or immediately observed as to their adverse effect. But make no mistake about it, mutations do not enhance the genetic code, they degrade the genetic code.
This is exactly what Dr. John Sanford, a geneticist, discovered. He discerned, along with other geneticists, that each generation is becoming more mutated than the previous generation. That we are trending away from the perfect code given to Adam and Eve and the rest of the creatures created at creation. We are literally heading in the opposite direction of evolution. We are trending toward less useful genetic code because of mutations, and not increasing in complexity with more useful genetic code, as evolutionists preach. And Natural Selection is the filtering mechanism designed by God in the genetic code and in nature to mitigate against the proliferation of mutations, by attempting to block the mutated from reproducing and passing on their mutated DNA.
All evolutionists that preach natural selection as exhibit “A” for evolution, actually reveal that they have not thought their paradigm careful enough in light of the science and logic of genetics and the natural biology of living creatures. The next time an evolutionist asks you for the evidence against evolution, tell them it is Natural Selection, and then explain why.
As a result of the above science and logic, all evolutionists fulfill, “For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures” Romans 1:21-23.
